The correct answer for last week's question is 3.....the Galveston Hurricane of 1900 (which killed 6,000 in Galveston), 1921, and Hurricane Carla in 1961. Brooke is closest with her guess of 6, and Derek wins most creative by default. John gets a point for hyping my bowling skills on his blog, and Katherine Hiegl gets two points for being hot. Here are the standings:
Brooke...........................2
Katherine Hiegl .............2
Derek............................1.5
Liz..................................1
Jessica...........................1
John...............................1
Crystal..........................0.5
Our next question is short and sweet.......In number of months or years and months, what is the longest period of time that OKC has gone without a tornado within the city limits?

7 years
5 years (a.k.a. 60 months)
15 months!
Mark wants to know what constitutes a tornado...(warning, sighting, touching down, etc.).
He also wants to know if he gets points for agreeing Katherine Hiegl is hot.
For this question a tornado is one that actually "touches down."
5 years, 8 months (October, 1992 - June 13, 1998)
Pam sucks!! The second longest stretch since 1950 occurred between June, 1981 and May, 1986.
