Hello Everyone! The correct answer to last week's question was 52.40 inches that fell back in 1908. Liz's answer of 1908 was correct and 54 inches was closest to correct, and since she answered BOTH parts of the question she will get a point. Crystal will get half a point for 1908 and Derek also gets half a point for a very cool useless fact that I didn't know. I found John's answer of "1969" very entertaining....he gets a point for most creative.
Here is how everyone stands:
Brooke......1
Jessica.....1
Liz..........1
Derek......1/2
Crystal....1/2
John........0
Now that we are entering hurricane season (the peak is during August and September), I thought a hurricane question tied to Oklahoma would be appropriate.....and yes, that is actually possible. No system has ever retained hurricane strength while crossing from Texas into Oklahoma, but....
Question: Since 1900, how many systems have retained tropical storm strength (40-74MPH) while crossing into Oklahoma?

I am using your weather widget radar to monitor the rain during my lunch break. Very helpful. What is up with all these storms moving south by southwest?
